1. Overview
CoinTick+ is a read-only cryptocurrency tracker for macOS. It does not provide wallets, hold funds or execute trades. The current app requires no TinyWorld account, purchase or license key.
2. Data on your Mac
Watchlist selections, display preferences, alert rules, daily-brief settings, manual portfolio transactions and cached prices are stored locally. Portfolio quantities and purchase history are used on your Mac to calculate valuations and returns.
3. Market data providers
The app requests prices, charts and coin information from CoinGecko and uses a public Coinbase trade stream. Requests include the coin or market identifiers and relevant quote currency or chart range. Providers receive network information such as your IP address and may log requests under their own policies. Manual portfolio quantities and purchase history are not required for these market requests. This is not a claim that third parties collect no data.
4. Notifications
Price alerts and daily briefs use macOS notifications when you allow them. Notification content may be visible on your screen or lock screen according to your system settings. You can disable notifications in macOS Settings.
5. Feedback and support
Feedback opens a draft in your email app; you choose whether to send it. If you contact TinyWorld, we receive your email address, message and anything you include. Do not send wallet keys, seed phrases, exchange credentials or private portfolio records.
6. Retention and deletion
You can remove portfolio entries and alerts in the app. Local preferences and caches may remain after removing a macOS app. Contact support for help clearing app data; manage system backups separately. We retain support correspondence as needed to address requests and applicable obligations. You can request deletion of that correspondence by email.
7. External services
CoinGecko and Coinbase process network requests under their own privacy policies, linked below. Your mail provider handles feedback you send. TinyWorld does not control those providers’ retention or processing.
8. Policy updates
This policy describes the current app. We update this page when its data handling changes. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or concerns about information a child has sent through support.
