1. Overview

CoinTick+ is a read-only cryptocurrency tracker for macOS. It does not provide wallets, hold funds or execute trades. The current app requires no TinyWorld account, purchase or license key.

2. Data on your Mac

Watchlist selections, display preferences, alert rules, daily-brief settings, manual portfolio transactions and cached prices are stored locally. Portfolio quantities and purchase history are used on your Mac to calculate valuations and returns.

3. Market data providers

Version 1.0 build 4 and version 1.1 request prices, charts and the coin catalog from TinyWorld’s market service hosted on Cloudflare. Version 1.0 uses CoinGecko; version 1.1 uses CoinMarketCap. Requests include coin identifiers, quote currency and chart range, not portfolio quantities, purchase costs or transaction history. Provider keys are held on the server, with shared short-lived market caches. The service does not forward the app user’s IP address, cookies or authorization headers to either market provider. No Coinbase stream is used.

Cloudflare receives IP addresses and network/request metadata when your Mac connects. Cloudflare processes traffic and security information under its privacy policy. Our Worker code does not create accounts, set tracking cookies, store advertising identifiers or log individual requests; Worker Logpush is disabled. Shared counters and provider-status diagnostics do not identify individual users. Infrastructure processing is not a claim of no data collection, and we do not promise a fixed retention period for Cloudflare-controlled network/security data.

4. Notifications

Price alerts and daily briefs use macOS notifications when you allow them. Notification content may be visible on your screen or lock screen according to your system settings. You can disable notifications in macOS Settings.

5. Feedback and support

Feedback opens a draft in your email app; you choose whether to send it. If you contact TinyWorld, we receive your email address, message and anything you include. Do not send wallet keys, seed phrases, exchange credentials or private portfolio records.

6. Retention and deletion

You can remove portfolio entries and alerts in the app. Cached quotes older than 24 hours are discarded during loading or refresh. Charts are held in memory and expired during refresh. Shared server market caches last five minutes and chart caches one hour; expired entries are cleaned periodically. Preferences and portfolio records remain until removed; local files may remain after uninstalling. Contact support for help clearing app data and manage backups separately. Support correspondence is retained as needed to address requests and applicable obligations; you can request its deletion by email.

7. External services

Cloudflare hosts the market service. CoinGecko (version 1.0) or CoinMarketCap (version 1.1) receives requests from our server, not directly from your Mac. If you enable optional analytics in version 1.1, Google receives analytics directly from the app. Your mail provider handles support email you choose to send. TinyWorld does not control these providers’ independent retention practices.

8. Optional analytics in version 1.1

Firebase Analytics is off by default. You may enable it in Settings > General to help us understand app usage. All features remain available if you decline. Once enabled, Google processes an app-instance identifier, app launches and sessions, guide progress, feature-opening events, device/OS and app-version information, and approximate location derived from the network connection. This does not use macOS Location Services or collect precise location.

Custom events do not include selected coin identifiers, prices, portfolio quantities, transactions or support messages. We do not set an analytics user account ID, collect advertising identifiers, or permit advertising personalization in the app. Analytics is used to improve the product, not to track you across other companies’ apps for advertising.

Turn the analytics switch off to stop future analytics collection and reset the local analytics identifier. This does not automatically erase reports already processed by Google. Contact [email protected] for data questions or deletion requests; without a user account we may not be able to identify a particular installation in historical reports. 9. Policy updates

This policy describes the current app. We update this page when its data handling changes. Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or concerns about information a child has sent through support.
