1. Overview

Van Nien Lich is TinyWorld's Vietnamese lunar calendar and family-occasion app. No app account is required to view the calendar or save occasions. TinyWorld does not operate a server that receives your occasion contents and does not sell or rent personal information.

2. Data on your device

The app stores occasion names, lunar or solar dates, notes, recurrence rules, time zones, reminder preferences, revision history and drafts. Appearance preferences are stored separately. Personal profiles are hidden in the release being prepared; names or birthdays entered in earlier betas may remain on the device. Hiding the interface does not delete those values.

Device backups may include this data depending on your Apple settings. Deleting an occasion records a deletion in its history to handle imports and conflicts; it does not immediately erase every older revision or backup copy.

3. Notifications, widgets and Apple Watch

Occasion reminders are scheduled on your device after you allow notifications. You can revoke permission in system Settings. Contacts or location access is not needed to view the calendar or create occasions.

Widgets use an app-group snapshot. iPhone may send display preferences and up to 64 upcoming occurrences to its paired Apple Watch. Names are hidden on glanceable surfaces by default. Custom names and icons appear only if you allow them; lock-screen widgets and Watch Always On always hide names. Notes and full revision history are not included in snapshots. Cached views may update late; occasion snapshots expire after no more than seven days.

4. Backups and iCloud

Exporting a backup creates a file containing the current workspace's occasion history. You choose where to store or share it. It does not include all settings or drafts. Importing merges revision history, so older versions may remain.

iCloud works only in a configured build and when you explicitly enable it. When available, CloudKit stores occasions and history in your Apple account's private database. Device and iCloud workspaces are separate. Device data is not copied to iCloud automatically. Disabling sync does not delete cloud data, and this feature does not share a calendar with family members' accounts. Builds without iCloud configuration use device-local storage.

5. Purchases, advertising and external links

Pro sales are not enabled in the release currently being prepared. In purchase-enabled builds, Apple processes transactions and the app reads verified transaction information to determine access. TinyWorld does not receive payment card details.

The app contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics or cross-app tracking. Bundled calendar content and backgrounds work offline. When you open a source or support link, the destination website's privacy practices apply. Apple may provide diagnostics or TestFlight feedback under your Apple settings.

6. Support correspondence

If you email [email protected], TinyWorld receives your email address, message and any files you choose to send to handle your request. Do not send passwords, payment details, family backups or other people's information unless necessary. We retain correspondence as needed to provide support and meet applicable obligations; you may request its deletion through the same address.

7. Retention and your controls

You can edit or delete individual occasions, disable reminders and manage privacy preferences in the app. Deleting an occasion does not immediately erase its history. Exported files, system backups and iCloud data must be managed separately. Deleting an app and its device data differs from Offload App, which can retain data. Offline Watch or cached widget snapshots may remain until the system refreshes or the data expires.

Disabling iCloud or deleting the app does not automatically erase previously stored iCloud data. Manage that data in Apple's iCloud settings. Contact support for deletion guidance; there is no TinyWorld account to close.

8. Children and policy changes

No TinyWorld account is needed to use the calendar. A parent or guardian may contact us if a child has sent personal information through support. Optional Apple services follow Apple's settings and privacy policies.

When data handling changes, we update this policy and its date. Material changes are communicated in the app or on this website when appropriate.
